The tips come off and i use a qtip with a bit of cleaner to get the gunk out
Works so well i usually keep it on the lowest power setting and i love all the different nozels grab a qtip to clean it and good to go

I put four stars because there was no instructions on how to use it fir a first timer like me i ended up with what looked like weird hickeys all over my face from holding too long in one place haha
