They make great gifts and the packaging is first rate

Even so the packaging and color names would probably be very appealing to the younger crowd as medium priced gift

I have to admit i was a prismacolor snob but after trying the back widow line i think i like these pencils just as much

Whether your an artist or not im sure you will fall in love with these exellent pencils

Then i told my daughter and bought her a set for her bday gift

These fall in between arteza black widows and prisma level of softness and layering ability
