The back protector is not just fro the screen but for the adhesive

The one i tried was where you put the screen last after you put the back cover back on the tablet

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Problem with this is you cannot open the new screen too much or else the ribbon cable gets dislodged

The other method is to put the screen onto the lcd and then snap the back cover in place

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One youtuber says doing it that way will make it very difficult to align the screen

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Anyway everything went well for me but when i removed the front film protector i found out that there was a small but noticeable piece of glass shard or something on the top part of the screen

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

So i removed the screen again but the adhesive is really strong so i ended up tearing most of the adhesive and maybe because i bent the screen too much there is now some weird distortion in the glass maybe from stress see picture
