There are flaps which seem to be designed to let wind pass through it although ive not watched them in action

Truly does what it says on the package the quality of the engineering that when into this windproof umbrella is remarkablei been out with this trusted friend in extremely force gale weather winds hammering towards me not a sign of this umbrella would blow inside out that is the main reason i bought this gem of an umbrella the cheap single skin ones always blow inside out

Managed to bend it back into dhape but could do with a slightly stronger shaft
