Pros & Cons
Pros
The trick is to make sure the cover is tight & to get one side of the elastic out of the plastic stopper first.
It actually protects the dish from ice and snow. Last thing my husband wants to do in a snow or ice storm is get the ladder out climb up and walk on an icy roof.
Highlights
Quality
Took about 5 mins to install very well made product
So far so good the snow doesnt affect the signal with the cover on and it fit just right
The only problem i found is rather to install this cover with the dull or shinny side out
We recently received 5 inches of snow and the snow slid right off and never had any issues with the dish

Result a bit of sticky snow stuck to the top but did not block out signal

We did experience some minor loss of signal when the snow was falling heavily but that is due to volume of snow in the air not the cover

At 50 bux this is a pure ripoff thin layer of vinyl and a string

The only issue i have is that the elastic tie to hold the cover on is too thin and does not work

I had to put 4 bungee cords to hold the cover on the satellite dish to prevent the cover from coming off and blowing away

The way the cover is stitched it told me i think the dull side faces out

But the shinny side looks like is really slick like a teflon
