Leash is regular and retractable. The bag holder is soft and doesn't * painfully against my knuckles.

My dane is small, only about 75-80 pounds. That is very small for a dane. The second holder is far too low for anyone to hold and walk your dog. The padding on the handles are subpar and not that padded at all.
