The inside measurement is about 22 inches around and the base tapers slightly to the top not a stovepipe hat

I was worried when this was delivered because it was in a box that looked too small and was domed up i thought for sure it would be crushed when we opened it

Wouldnt fit a larger sized adult head unless you want it to just sit on top of the head
