This cord is longer, looks the same, and is arguably the same or better quality. Works fine with my house of marley trench town rock over-ear wired headphones. Bought this to use with my bose qc 35ii headphone.
This cable is exactly as advertised. Tips are in protectors for shipping. Appears to be good quality.
Jacket appears to be silicone and is very flexible and snag free. Looks & feels durable. This cable is sturdy and delivers excellent sound quality.
Cons
Audio drops off intermittently from one ear to another. Wire is poorly glued to the connector. In my bose quietcomfort 25, the audio in the right ear cuts in/out unless you hold the jack into the ear phone, which does not happen with the stock bose 2.... Read More

I really only used it on the plane as the qr35s are wireless but to watch the entertainment system on the plane i required plugin capability
