This is a little different beast than a le crueset for example, which is super heavy. It's beautiful to look at and cleans very easy. Perfect for avoiding most simple spills.

The lid fits tightly as it should to keep the moisture and juices in. The dome-shaped lid has a stainless-steel rim and a recessed interior. There is a stainless steel rim to help prevent boil-overs.
Cons
The pan takes a long time to get to temperature because it doesn't like medium to slightly medium high heat. The pan leaves a discoloration on the inside bottom that won't come off. I am disappointed at the outcome of using this.
