Pros covers a 12 pan easy to store by hanging from a hook can be used as a cover for larger bowls in the microwavecons tends to cave in when on the pan and may touch the food steam does sometimes escape out the edges of the coverits handy to have but is probably not a perfect substitute for an actual lid
