The cap will not open until most of pressure gone.

But with a bit of effort, and a couple of attempts, it makes it a whole lot better, for much less effort & chemicals than you would otherwise use,the long flex in particular makes it the winner - work out how much flex you actually need to get from a power point to your shower and you'll probably find that this is the only one that will do - at 3m most of the others are far too short.

The unit refuses to stand upright when extension hose is attached so becomes slightly cumbersome, once in use there is no problem as you have to hold the unit to activate the steam button.
