The road does have a one problem that is easily fixed the handle can end up spinning around the rod itself so your reel can end up not being aligned to the eyes on the rod but a simple bit of superglue on the rod and push it into the handle job done i have only seen this happen once on my rod my friends didnt do this

As a fly rod i like its balance and feel i dare say as using in spinning mode it would give good performance
