The other two pair have been resoled and repaired and retired to street wear and backup at work

Arch too high for my flat foot

It makes one’s foot sit in the shoe in a manner not possible with any of the standard removable footbed which birkenstock themselves are unfortunately turning to with their newer model of “dundee” so that for the sort of easy steady walking that is so good to do in the comfortable southern australian cool season climate there exists no better shoe available
