Pros

They are more durable than any other brand. They are hard enough in the upper foot/toe covering that when i accidentally kicked a door, it did not damage my foot or hurt toe. My feet feel protected and comfortable all shift.

Insoles take a bit to break in, but smooth sailing after that. They are a little big fit my shoe size so i wear extra socks to compensate. There are replacement insoles available, too.

Cons

Very very very loose of a kitchen shoe. I am 6 foot 10 inches with size 15 feet had to go down to size 14 for these. I love birks, but these were horrible.
