My least favorite things to recognize about this book like other reviews said it does mention having an audio that is supposed to come with it and i did not get it

I did buy the book secondhand though and my main focus was the book alone and not the cd so i am not disappointed but i think i should mention you might not get the audio either if you buy second hand

Excellent book for our family to use but it refers to a cd which would be great to have listening to the bird calls and the book did not come with the cd

That bird was actually the reason i wanted to buy a michigan bird field guide and ironically it is not in this book

The author himself states right there on the 3rd or 4th page of the bookin michigan alone 409 kinds of birds have been recorded throughout the years
