You simply twist out the bubble piece and the whole tube comes out with the filter attached at the bottom

Once you have the tube off you once again twist the bottom piece to the right and the old filter comes off

If it wasnt for the higher cost of this filter although maybe worth it for ease of use as compared to other aquarium filter refills i would probably buy a new service kit for every water change

I received the filter as listed but the chemicals that were included were a variation of the packaging shown

The biorb tanks are already expensive enough this sort of retailing is like extortion

The only advantage here is buying multiple filters at once which does cut down on overall cost of the filters but the shipping expenses which are not free on amazon no matter how much you spend end up making the product more expensive
