I am yet to find a decent tilt and swivel office chair that uses another form of height adjustment other than these awful gas lifts. Waste of money. I have to wonder if the test they did was just to put weights on it then take them off.

Some of the mounting holes didn’t align properly so needed to be adjusted

My old chair had a rigid base
