I have a normal lightweight hybrid bike for commuting around the city and this rack simply doesnt hold the bike up! Total waste of money and defeats the purpose of the rack.

Currently the noise became troublesome so what i did was take down the one part on the rear tire and im now using leg weights for tension

I worry about pressure being put on the spokes causing some bending if left there too long

But if you bump into it from the side the bike can slide down

Its pretty inexpensive so dont expect industrial strength
