It currently holds an xperia sp phone but i wouldnt recommend it for that phone as the clips on the side apply pressure on the camera and power button on this particular phone

The adhesive is like a sticky gel pad which conforms very well to the textured dash board plastic

The back is completely supported which is great if you want the security but be aware that your phone cant double as a light on the ground at night
