A little pricey when you want to buy 2 but i am happy that they have kept quality over a year now.
I bought this hand warmer based upon my experience with the smaller big blue that i had purchased last winter.
When my gloved hand gets cold i stick in the pocket with the hand warmer and in minutes i'm ready to trip the shutter again.
Competitiveness
Works great as a handwarmer, has a great flashlight, and charges my iphone and ipad successfully.
I originally purchased this bigblue hand warmer thinking that the 10000mah battery would provide longer operation than the smaller units.
If you put it on the higher setting it produces a lot of heat.

It charges a phone fully 2-3 times.

When i picked it up maybe 30 minutes later it was very hot.

Often it is on the last bar when i get home, but that may be after four hours of continuous use on the low setting.
