Pros

It takes a small footprint and allows for accurately drilling a straight, vertical hole. Also helps to keep a handheld drill orthogonal to the surface. Instructions say and rightly so to fasten the guide in a clamp or vise.

This little tool is a life saver! It's not bad, fairly small.

This template is pretty * good considering the alternative trouble to rig up a drill just to square a hole. I make folding knives and the pivot hole had to be perfect. Holes are perpendicular for installing t-nuts.
