Ive used the lens on three different occasions so far and was very satisfied with the shots
The case that was included for the lens is a good quality zippered canvas bag
I dont see that as a flaw in the lens i will be experimenting with counterbalancing the lens and camera so that they are more stable

At maximum zoom the vertical tilt does not lock down well enough to keep the lens from drifting upwards

It is possible to attach a skylight or other filter without removing the hood at least on the lens i received

I would not recommend it for night time use or fast moving subjects
