He will outgrow the top prior to the bottoms however

Excessively floppy tops are dangerous and inefficient when swimming bottoms mostly just stay compressed against skin but arms in floppy sleeves moving forward to take a swim stroke create a parachute effect so i am glad the designer sized these for water use in mind
