Pros
9 years later the mattress feels as good as new. However, i was used to my old style zipper. But that’s replaceable and everything else is intact. It's so comfortable that my husband can be found lying next to her. Waterproof isn't a deal breaker.
Not all products live up to their descriptions but this one exceeded my expectations. They are pricey but worth every penny!
Our lab/hound is 105 lbs and 12 1/2 years old. He has back and rear leg stiffness that we hope the bed will alleviate. He no longer wakes up moving slow and limping. The pad is a bit firm for our 6 year old labrador and 12 year old pittie mix.
The big barker 7 pillowtop is a godsend! Got the xl and treat it like a trundle bed. Large enough for us to snuggle together.
Cons
Price is simply outrageous. Was expecting a high quality dog bed for $300. Was able to return and get a full refund.

Definitely worth the money our dogs deserve to sleep as comfortably as we do

I spent so much money on dog beds each month like on 100 beds because they would either chew them or the foam would flatten even though they were “orthopedic” etc

The cover comes off east for washing and goes back on just as easy

My dog is a maremma sheepdog or great pyrenees or some mix of those and is 87 lbs but she barely makes a dent in the bed when she lies on it

She is not crazy about it and wouldnt stay on it so i put her prior softer bed on top of it and now all is well
