It has 10 heat settings instead of three and the controller is flat on the bottom so you can set it on the nightstand

Second there is no stitching anywhere except the perimeter where the two pieces are sewn together

Because its thin and there is no interior stitching like a quilt might have you cant get the edges to look straight
