The light itself has six modes the first choice is a steady red next mode is steady blue next is blinking red next is a blinking red at half speed then you have the three blink red three blink blue which might get you mistaken for a bicycle cop and the last mode is steady red at half brightness

It comes with a foot long usb charging cable and when i went to charge it i pulled off the rubber cover on the micro usb on the back and for the life of me i could not get it back on
