Pros

Holds bib securely. Works very well, secures race bib without putting holes in clothing, like safety pins do. The magnet is strong and they do hold on my bibs without slipping.

They are so much quicker and easier to put on and take off a race bib than safety pins or clips. I think they are especially practical in cold weather, since cold fingers can be clumsy. They keep the number pinned good and my jerseys in mint condition...  Read More

Much better than poking holes in my shirt with safety pins. I have the skull and cross bones and they're too cute to lose!

Cons

The are difficult to get positioned correctly on you bib. If there is a crease or wrinkle in the bib it is hard to get it straightened out. Cyano’ is blue, not the light turquoise color depicted in the pictures.

This photo is after the jersey was washed with the numbers on and it still held

I know the bib flipping up if you use a belt and the bib is flipping around or if you have an arm across the chip can all interfere with the ability to register a time and while these claim not to interfere i wasn’t sure what would happen but i’m happy to say that all my times showed up properly

Cons with bibupsthese are slightly harder to get placed on the shirt compared to safety pins

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I’ve always had to adjust safety pins several times myself and it’s difficult to get the shirt on if two of the sets of magnets come close to each other they stick to each other even if they are already paired to their mates so it can be tricky getting the shirt on over your head with the bib already on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I knocked one off while waiting for my corral to release and its mate went skittering across the ground

I was able to reclaim it because we weren’t moving yet but during a race this would have been a bigger problem

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The first time i went to put the magnets on the bib it got attracted to the timing chip which caused me a bit of uncertainty as to whether i screwed up my timing chip or not

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I was more cautious putting the rest of the magnets on and the timing chip functioned well so overall i wasn’t too bothered but just a little mad at myself for letting that happen
