Pros & Cons
Pros
Clean lines, easy to clean, looks crisp on tables. Good weight and balance. They have the ping of quality ceramic. Will end up working nicely for our purposes.
Placemat & napkin holder for the bird cage. Would also work for individual soufflés and desserts.
These are roomy as well as beautiful. I use a bar mop towel or doubled paper towels to get the bowl out of the microwave. Oven safe and retains heat of contents well. Salt container in pics for size comparison.

I dont consider them to be bakeware but sometimes i use them when the oven is in broiler mode to toast shredded cheese on thing like chili and french onion soup but there are other bowls for this that have handles although i dont have any and have no idea whether they get hot when microwaving
