    This is a diffuse field calibrated mic which means you should put it 90 degree to the sound sourceyour speaker eg

    If you put this mic 0 degree it will make high frequency response 510db higher since it is already calibrated for diffuse field

    And the greate thing is that you can send mail to beyer customer support he will send you the calibration data and a detail diagram files for 0 degree measurement and it is free！you can use the measurement data with 0 degree testing which make frequency more accurately flat
