Pros
It pays for itself quickly and seems very durable. It's not uncomfortable to wear even when time expires (20 minutes) it's thick, bulky and can get tremendous relief.
The beurer em38 lower back pain relief belt works wonders on back pain. I am so happy to have found the beurer belt to use for pain in my lower back due to several issues with my lumbar spine. I wear it for sciatica pain, it does the trick!
Program c is the bomb. Ease of use, various modes and settings.
Cons
If you have a hourglass figure and a small waist this unit may not fit and will not function properly. The belt is too wide so all the electrodes don't make contact. The control unit has to be on the belt while it is working!

Great product received it this morning i have had bad lower back pain for 4 days and nothing was helping much i have one of those small stick on tens units but putting it on your back alone is a problem and working the little controller not so easy either thats what led me to this unit

The only issue i see so far is on the a setting there is a 10 minute burst of full power and i love it unfortunately i cant set the unit to be on that level power as a stand alone setting wish it had that setting available

At first i couldnt get it to do anything but realized i had to wet the tens pad as well as my back in case you try it without moisture and cant get it to do anything

That second set seems to be a much higher stimulation setting than the first one you set and man you know it when it kicks in
