One binder has now 2 out of 3 rings that won't close making it unusable. Very cheap, flimsy material/plastic binders. Makes it hard to look nice and fit nice on a shelf.

Those are bendable but if you wont keep them on the move all the time like in a book bag then they are fine and very light weight

This is just a fancy pocket folder with flexible exterior but i think it will meet the kids needs better because the binders wont be as heavy

If you want hard cover buy a hardcover these are poly flex binders
