The front has a rubbery cover to keep the laptop from sliding off and it doesnt really get in the way of your typing

I got this hoping it would be a replacement for my current stand which doesnt have a great lip at the end and my computer easily falls off

Unfortunately this didnt work for me because i have a desk pad and i have to have my computer on the corner so one side would be on the deskpad and the other off making it unstable
