I have not had it that long but so far i am very pleased
That little pump that came with the fountain seemed to fade and stop pumping as it should
Having a light with the pump makes the fountain look great at night
Price
My only wish is that the colors were adjustable or that i could turn the lights off during the day but for the price i am more than happy

Only difference between the new and the old pump is that the old pump had another plug connection close to the pump so the pump could be removed for cleaning without 4 5 feet of cord dangling around

About a month ago some lights dimmed and some have gone out
