However i managed to get it to work by using an hdmi splitter as it seems the reason why they dont work out of the box at least with he ps3 is due to the hdcp restrictions used by the console

This is essentially a prtotocol that prevents certain hdmi devices to display the audio and video contents fed by the ps3

By adding a hdmi device with proper hdcp identification in this case the input port of an hdmi splitter the issue is solved and the split audio and video feed is properly reproduced by the aio headset

Once you get it working you can even set a zoom factor that will essentially magnify the video to a certain field of view that moves with that head tracking mechanism of the headset

I am not a hard core gamer so dont take my word for granted if you are looking specifically for a budget vr set for your ps3
