All of these units in my experience had major problems with barrel leakage slippage of drive mechanism and barrel wear

The barrel has remained clear unlike a durabull barrel which clouded over immediately and the drive process creates no wear on the lid

The barrel has a durable orange rubber ring that contacts with the drive rollers and appears it will not wear easily

For larger pieces that may hang up in the barrel there is a reversing option that automatically stops and changes the direction of the barrel every 30 seconds or so

I do not see a need to lube this model as the roller shafts are concealed

Works really good but throw away the steel balls that came with it and get the stainless one it gets rusted almost instantly
