Personally i plan on using the inverter with a deep cycle battery left on a charger in the utility room to power my sump pump in the event of a power outage the power ratings fall within what my pump needs it has a huge peak wattage which it cant sustain but needs to start something like a sump pump motor as the motor will draw a lot more power starting from a standstill than it needs to complete a pumping cycle
