Pros
Paper filters absorb more water than metal filters. Keeps our 2200 square foot home at 40% relative humidity. Was just a little large for my hamilton humidifier.
Cons
Water dripping from humidifier to hvac & floor. Paper pad increased humidification over metal panel, but it has a very short lifespan.

Only issue is they were shipped in an amazon plastic bag and not a box

The humidifier is set up to turn on the furnace fan and open the water valve automatically

Also it claims to give about 10 higher humidity than the standard clay version which is good though i have not verified that claim
