Presumably thats because when they were powered by ac they were only lit half the time

I still dont think they are quite as bright as the 11 watt incandescent bulbs but they are ok

Color is a bit odd more of a greenish white hue than the normal std

The bulbs are fine except they have a more yellowish ever so tinge of green

Nothing bad but if you are looking for warm white they are not totally true to that color

Doing this prevents gratuitous outbursts of colorful language after night falls and you observe that one or more of your new bulbs arent cooperating
