For the $33 price and steel type (bearing steel) they seem to be cutting as well as my american-made version of sae taps and dies. The cutters are very sharp and work well. The only downside to this set is the tap and die handles. This way the little ... Read More

Set seems accurate and reasonably well made. Now to finish that project.

Cons

This set is cheap junk. Spent an extra $10. Broke instantly. Should have known by price. Did not want someone else to make the mistake i made.

The dies seem good so far, but the wrench is very frustrating. These are only useful for chasing dirty threads or maybe aluminum work. I tried the die nut on a small thread, i believe a number 4 and it didnt work.
