Pros

The door knob is beautiful and easy to install. A little tricky but will get used to it. I stripped the poor screws and got them attached to the door.

Cons

This lock set is poor quality. If you want a piece of junk, it’s for you. They all make a terrible crunching noise when you turn the handle.

Very flimsy (loose). This handle has sharp edges. It also has a bit too much slop/wiggle in the mechanism. After installation, the handle slacks a bit.

You are instructed to remove the handle from the * in order to access the mounting screw. Luckily this handle is on a door i do not use often, or i would request a refund.

It is not kwikset quality but it is half the price

The directions to do that got confusing but essentially you just swap the lock cylinder with the key cylinder and reconnect

Weight of the handlelock felt more than adequate and the price was worth it for good security

Step three slide the plate up the door knob out of the way

The only issue is there’s a small burr toward the inner back of the lever

Competitiveness

Got this to replace a schlage handelin our garage

More specifically the lever does not fit as tightly as a similar kwikset but it appears to be solid and strong
