Using channel locks tends to * up the connector. It's so convenient! Great product the only thing is like stated in other reviews that it leaks.

Works as advertised. Works just fine and is easy to clean. It works nicely.

Cons

The provided adapter is just horrible. Too loose, it leaks. Needs a major redesign to eliminate the adapter and just connect directly to a hose.

The floating mechanism failed after a year and a half and the bowl rusted

All parts of this bowl are plastic and therefore can break easily

Price

I guess it was okay for the price minus leaking

I also purchased a galvanized one for my dog that was twice the price

Shipping

Coastal sent me a replacement float for free and now i have a second one ready to go
