Pros

Benq th585 works really well, its been more than couple of months since i purchased this. This is an impressive projector. The whole system works beautifully. Device is intuitive easy to set up.

Build quality is just the completeness of this price. I care about good video and audio quality, and this delivers.

It is exceptionally clear and very bright. Although the lamp life is shorter but it is not diffcult to change and it only cost you less than $60 for the bare bulb.

Fan noise is lower than those unbranded lcd projectors. Sound output is not diminished at all. Fan is much quieter than my previous projector.

Cons

It is too bright for me to watch at nighttime. Id rather use my old projector that has the burnt out bulb i cant replace. Not enough sound.

I used to only see rainbows in really high action scenes on the ht2050 on the th585 youll see themmuch more frequently

Im going with a qled at twice the price but worth the extra

I also bought a vankyo 630w which is now sitting in a closet
