Pros

Sata to usb is plug and play. Worked with both windows 10 and 11, as well as linux. Decided to use it along with the harvested laptop hard drive for my xbox one.

Units are available that fix this issue, but on ssd's, they have worked fine. It works great for that purpose. Worked like a charm.

Cons

When i plug in any usb drive to my pc, it reads and shows up instantly. Hard drives require more power to operate than usb offers.
