We went back out this morning to try and find them and as we were walking on state land the one dog that wasnt lost got stuck in a coyote trap while we tried to free him and he was crying one of my beagles came back and ended up getting trapped in another coyote trap

I know now how to open the traps but when i was panicking i did not

I tried to use a leatherman knife to pry open the trap and the blade snapped right off

I pulled out my benchmade and i pried the trap open just enough to get my dogs foot out and the blade did not snap

The axis lock takes at most a day of fiddling with it to break in its a bit stiff when i got it fresh out of the boxpouch but other than that you get what you pay for

Consthese are very small issues that i didn’t feel warranted removing a star
