Pros
Sturdy and easy to install. Don't keep buying the other seats with screw rods you have to screw at both ends, this seat is so sturdy. We have a busy house and toilet seats don't last and this seat don't wobble or move.
This is durable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Arrived with slight surface marks on the underside of the lid. Use a thin screwdriver carefully to search for the join opposite the hinge.
Cons
This more basic version comes with just a plastic bolt and plastic thumb screw. The span is too large and the seat cracks exactly where you would expect. I see other reviewers have mentioned this same issue.

Amazed at the quality for the price
These bemis seats are a similar price to the bq one but the quality is on a different level and most importantly they do not move
Other than that there is not much i can say about the product
This is particularly noticeable with the blue harpic i think liquid
Price
In fact the price is about £4 lower than the last time i bought one and represents good value in my opinion
I have no idea if this is what should be expected from a toilet seat but at the price i am not complaiing

After the 2nd broken acrylic seat were not that big just someone always needs to step on it to close the window above

The first was bought in may 2014 and replaced in september 2018 and the second was bought in april 2017 and replaced with this order in november 2022 giving a rough life of between four and five years

Sturdiness is acceptable although our reason for replacing them was because they broke in different places if i recall correctly

I believe in one case the actual seat cracked and on this other occasion it was a combination of the bolthinge mechanism breaking and one of the plastic cushions perishing
