The hinges are so large that it pushes the whole unit forward enough that a small gap can be seen over the back of the bowl

Great soft close with brushed nickel hinges which seems to be difficult to find some play in the attachment points but does not seem to be a real issue after a month of use heavy construction rather than cheap plastic
