In all this is worth the price and i am happy with the purchase
It is also recommended that you have a helper on hand to assist with the assembly
In terms of quality and appearance this tv stand is a cut above most furniture that you assemble yourself
I have some additional comments on both the use of remotes with the doors closed and the distance between shelves
Shipping
I must say that the shipping delivery was excellent with product in flawless shape
A replacement for the door broken in shipping arrived about 10 days later
However it is immensely heavy 174 lbs shipping weight so get help moving the box
Would love to just swap glass tops so that we dont have to go through the hassle of dismantling and shipping it back
Packaging/appearance
Arrived in great packaging and the styrofoam did an excellent job protecting everything
Alternate packaging made from other plastics cardboard paper and other materials are a better option

If you have a larger older stereo receiver i had an onkyo from around 2003 check that the receiver will fit within the shelves

My stereo unit was so massive it would not fit inside the unit or even on the speaker shelf

With the doors closed the space between the wood on the doors does allow for ir signals to pass through the glass part of the door

On my bluray disc player both the universal remote and the device remote worked 100 of the time because the devices ir sensor was lined up with the space between the wood
