I hooked it up to my trek mountain bike which has heavy duty tires and contrary to what other reviewers stated although it is somewhat noisy it is not at all distracting

The 2 cups for the rear wheel nuts are just large enough to slide for easy install but deep enough that the bike is held firm

The resistance is never so hard that you can stand up on the pedals but starting in top gear is nearly impossible
