Pros & Cons
Pros
Can holds 3 bags of birdseed. Makes a simple to use faraday cage for small electronics. Food stays fresh and no critters.
It's expensive at nearly $70; but, we’re paying over $50 at a time for bulk peanuts that were being decimated in no time at all. It’s under a covered porch, so no need to take extra measures to keep it dry from corrosion.
This is easy to clean, has locking lid which is neccessary as i have a naughty dog. The lid fits nice and snug so no poop smells.
Wooden bin, no problem; hard plastic lidded bucket, easy peasy. Wide opening gives plenty of room to dump the ash bin without spilling. Works as an excellent fireplace ash bucket.
Cons
Runnings, lowe's and walmart sell the same product for $18. Don't purchase this item if you plan on putting anything moist into it, it is garbage! Not even a little. Came dented. Kind of a piece of junk.
Is it just me or are galvanized trash cans and buckets getting flimsier and thinner? It claims to be rust proof, but it definitely is not. Not good for dog poop bags.
