This is a slow burn romance since ben and kit get off on the wrong foot and work their way towards friendship before getting in any deeper

Beginners luck is a rare gem a debut novel that will have the reader impatiently waiting for more

The author has either done a ton of research or happens to have once been a scientist and a recruiter and a builder because the detail work for each character was so in depththe way they talked about their jobs and passions was so detailed it seemed hard to fake and it really helped me immerse in the story because it felt like two real people not characters all being written by one person

You see both major character’s perspectives

I loved the development the flawed characters the very real feel to it even if it was about someone who won the lottery

The h and h actually talk to each other for at least half the book before getting together

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I enjoyed how the author paced the development of the romantic relationship and how the two main characters had to work thru plausible personal hesitations before they could be together
